Our goal

This  special project  merged a 57 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible, and a 2002 Mercury Grand Marquis chassis and driveline.  The project  progressed to completion of a 1957 Ford Fairlane 500 Sunliner Convertible visibly correct in every way.....but:

  1. sitting upon a narrowed and lengthened 2002 Grand Marquis chassis
  2. 4.6L SOHC 16 valve engine (2004  4.6L - 239hp SAE)
  3. AODE transmission
  4. Lincoln watts linkage rear suspension
  5. Anti-lock Brake System  (ABS)
  6. Traction control
  7. power 4 wheel disc brakes
  8. cruise control
  9. Modern Bi-level AC-heat-defrost
  10. Passive Anti-theft protection  (PATS)
  11. The car has correct and functioning EPA emissions
  12. This is a drive anywhere good looking 57 Ford Convertible
  13.  It can be serviced as a 2002-2004 Grand Marquis in the future. (Mechanical, electrical, chassis, brakes, suspension)
